Guardian is free to download. A paid auto-renewable subscription purchased in the app is required to unlock Guardian's full curriculum review reports, evidence-backed alerts, saved family context, teacher-message drafts, conversation guides, dashboard/history, and ongoing review features.

With an active Guardian subscription, parents can review schoolwork before class. Scan worksheets, textbook pages, syllabi, reading lists, and curriculum material, then get a report that shows what was reviewed, why it was flagged, and what you can do next.

Subscription-required features include:

• Scanning textbook covers, barcodes, assigned pages, worksheets, and syllabi for full review.
• Reviewing public district and curriculum sources.
• Viewing alerts with evidence, page/source context, and severity.
• Saving a family profile so reviews match your child's grade, school context, and priorities.
• Drafting teacher messages and at-home conversation guides from the findings.

Without a subscription, you can open the app, enter basic context, view plan information, and manage or restore purchases. Full report generation and the review tools listed above require a separate in-app purchase.
