POKO is a pocket-sized groovebox: a playable beat maker, synth, chiptune, FM, acid bass, vocal synth and sampler in one. Program a 16-step sequencer, stack engines that all play locked in sync, and jam with punch-in effects. Every sound is generated on-device, so the app stays tiny and there's nothing to download.

SEVEN SWAPPABLE ENGINES • POKO BEAT: a punchy procedural drum machine with ten voices (kick, snare, hats, cowbell, shaker, crash and more) and kits from clean to 808, acoustic and metal • POKO CHIP: an 8-bit chiptune voice with pulse, triangle, noise, PWM and sync waves, chords and an arpeggiator • POKO TONE: a melodic synth with saw, square, pulse, supersaw and sine waves through a resonant filter • POKO CHOP: a sampler. Record through the mic and play it back pitched across the keys or chopped into slices, with per-slot reverse, loop, pitch and a non-destructive waveform trimmer • POKO ACID: a 303-style resonant bass with a squelchy filter sweep • POKO FM: 2-operator FM for bells, electric pianos and metallic plucks • POKO VOX: a formant vocal synth for vowel, choir and robot tones (aah / ooh / robot / talk)

BUILD A GROOVE • 16-step sequencer with one-handed, tactile pad input • Stack multiple engines in a rack so they all play together on one tempo • Per-step parameter locks for evolving, human-feeling patterns • Step probability and ratchets: make a step play by chance, or retrigger it into a roll • Global swing for shuffle and groove • Scale lock keeps every melodic engine in the same key • Sound variants: swap drum kits, synth waves and chip channels in a tap • Undo and redo as you build, so it's safe to experiment

MIX AND ARRANGE • Balance the whole mix: level, pan, mute and solo per engine • A master reverb to wrap the whole kit in space, from a tight room to a long tail • Save patterns and chain them into full songs • Copy a pattern to a new slot and tweak it into a variation • Master tempo with a draggable BPM

PERFORM • Punch-in FX on the master: stutter, gate, low/high-pass filters, delay, crush, drive, reverse, roll, build-ups and more • Latch effects live, or write them into the pattern

SAMPLE ANYTHING • Record sounds through the microphone straight into the pads • Play a sound as a melodic scale, or slice it into 16 hits • Trim, reverse, loop and transpose each slot, all non-destructive

EXPORT AND SAVE • Bounce your loop or full song to a stereo WAV, with pan and reverb baked in, and share it anywhere • Save and reload full projects, including your recordings • Share a whole project as a file, so a friend can open your beat and take it apart

POKO PRO POKO Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks the sampler, synth and bassline engines, the rack, song mode, export and live recording. It is available as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
