WHAT HIBIWA IS Hibiwa (日々和 — "daily harmony") is an app for leaving exactly one card a day to exactly one close person. Not chat. Not social. Not a streak. Not a journal for yourself (unless you want it to be — there's a "for yourself" mode too). Just a short, daily gesture — two sentences, one memory, one warm touch — kept forever in your shared keepsake box.

WHY ONE Because the daily measure forces presence. You don't write whenever — you write when you actually have something to say. The same thought that could scatter into twenty messages distills into one sentence. It's the difference between a letter and a text.

HOW IT WORKS • No new account — Hibiwa uses your iCloud account (no signup, no password, no email). • Send your loved one an iMessage invite link. • Leave one short card per day. The limit resets at dawn (5:00 local). • They see your card under a soft mist — a long press reveals it. • Warm trace — a double tap, a gentle haptic on their phone. No words. • Together now — a soft dot lights up when you're both in the app at the same moment. • Sealed envelope — a card for a hard day, for when they miss you. 24 SEASONS Hibiwa breathes to the rhythm of the 24 Japanese microseasons (sekki). Every two weeks the accent, the prompt, the color shifts. Spring's awakening, summer's solstice, autumn's clearing — the app changes with the season you are living in.
