Free and Pro differ in hours, not quality. The transcript is exactly the same on both — paying gets you more time, not a better result.

A note on privacy The on-device promise is about your content: your audio and your transcripts stay on the device and are never uploaded. The app itself uses anonymous usage stats to find what's broken and improve, but those never include your recordings.
