Haibao AI is a local-first video player for iPhone and iPad. It focuses on local media playback, on-device AI subtitles, bilingual translation, and simple import tools in a clean native interface.

Local video playback Play videos you import into the app using a native player, with AVPlayer and a VLC-based fallback for less common formats. Haibao keeps playback controls, subtitle options, and recently played media organized.

On-device AI subtitles Generate subtitles from the audio track using an on-device speech model. Choose the spoken language and a target language to show original and translated captions together with Apple Translation.

Easy importing Bring videos into the app from the Files app, or send large files from a computer on the same Wi-Fi network using the built-in Wi-Fi Transfer page.

Privacy-minded by design Local media files, file paths, subtitles, and translated text are not uploaded to cloud AI services. The app may send minimized product analytics and error information as described in the privacy policy.
