InChina: China Travel Planner

Just launched on the App Store. Swipe real places from local planners and get a day-by-day China route checked against real trains, hours and weather.

InChina builds China trips the way a well-traveled friend would: from real places, not scraped lists.

Every place in the app is a card written and signed by a planner who lives in China. To plan a trip, you swipe through those cards, paste a travel video you liked, or just describe what you want. The app turns your picks into a day-by-day route, then checks every leg against the real world: actual train numbers and fares, opening hours, distances, and the weather for each day of your trip. If a train doesn't exist, it never makes it into your plan.

WHAT YOU GET • A day-by-day itinerary you refine by chatting. Keep talking until the plan fits. • Real rail data: train numbers, departure times and fares from the live timetable. • A companion mode that walks each day with you, stop by stop. • Live maps around every stop, and an offline route book for when the signal drops. • Instant translation: point your camera at a menu or a sign, or just speak. • Paste a video from TikTok, YouTube or Xiaohongshu and turn it into a route.

ON THE GROUND • Local guide & car: request a quote for a licensed local guide or a driver directly from your itinerary. You confirm the details in the app and pay the provider in person. The app never asks for card details. • Ask a Planner: open a seat with credits and ask a real human anything about your route. First reply within 24 hours on working days.

HOW PRICING WORKS Browsing places and translation are free. Generating a full itinerary costs credits; a new account comes with enough for its first full plan, and credit packs are one-time purchases if you want more. There is no subscription.

InChina is written in English and made for travelers visiting China, including the visa-free crowd. You don't need a Chinese phone number to use any of it.
