Parachute Log is the iOS app for tracking parachute operations — built for military paratroopers, sport skydivers, and jumpmasters who need fast, detailed, reliable records of every jump.

QUICK JUMP LOGGING Log a jump in seconds with a streamlined form that captures everything that matters: • Date and location — manual or auto-detected via GPS with reverse geocoding • Jump type — Static Line, Freefall, Mass Tactical, or Tandem • Aircraft, exit altitude, and MSL — in feet or meters • Duty position — Student, Parachutist, or Jumpmaster • Canopy type and sortie count • Conditions — Day/Night, Equipment/Hollywood, Water, and Oxygen

Save your most-used values as defaults so repeat jumps take just a few taps. Swipe to duplicate a previous jump and pre-fill the form for similar operations.

LIVE WEATHER Real-time weather from the Open-Meteo API records temperature, wind speed, wind direction, and conditions alongside every jump. Units respect your preferences — Fahrenheit/Celsius, mph/km/h.

JUMP HISTORY Browse your complete log in a searchable, chronological list. Each entry shows jump number, type, date, location, altitude, aircraft, duty position, and condition badges at a glance. Search across any field. Swipe to duplicate or delete.

VISUAL STATISTICS Analytics dashboard with four time-range filters (30 days, 90 days, 1 year, all time): • Summary card — total jumps, total sorties, last jump date • Jump type breakdown — horizontal bar chart • Duty position distribution — color-coded donut chart • Conditions frequency — bar chart per condition

HOME SCREEN WIDGET Keep your jump status visible without opening the app: • Total jump count • Days since last jump • Color-coded currency status indicator — green / orange / red based on 30/90-day thresholds • Tap to open the Log Jump screen

DATA EXPORT AND IMPORT Your data is yours. Export in three formats: • CSV — open in any spreadsheet • JSON — structured backup or transfer • PDF — print-ready, formatted document Import previously exported JSON to restore or migrate.
