For habits where quitting cold turkey isn't realistic, you can track quantity instead of just yes/no — log how many cigarettes today instead of an all-or-nothing slip, and watch the number trend down over time. The same goes for good habits you want to build up gradually, not just check off. Every good habit you keep adds a little to your jar.
