Take a photo and Pillo uses on-device OCR to read imprint codes, estimate shape, colour, and size, then compare results against a curated database. When no imprint is visible, Pillo provides an appearance-only suggestion clearly marked as low confidence.

LIVE LOOKUP

For medicines outside the bundled travel database, Pillo queries NIH RxNorm / RxNav and openFDA data sources to provide ingredient and availability information.
