Wayfinder Companion for SWU

Auto-captures every Karabast game you play and turns it into a personal match history, ELO chart, and replay archive at wayfinder.news.

Wayfinder Companion is a Safari Web Extension that captures every Star Wars: Unlimited game you play on Karabast.net and sends it to your personal match history at wayfinder.news — no manual logging, no screenshots, no spreadsheets.

What it does • Collect play data for your Premier and Limited games — auto-captured from every Karabast match: result, opponent handle, deck, and full game state. • Captures best-of-three matches, conceded games, and rematches without missing a beat. • Join the Karabast queue straight from Protect the Pod — Wayfinder links each game back to PTP for stats, history, and replays. • Take notes and enrich your games with live data and meta overlays while you play. • Sends each match to your private match history at plugin.wayfinder.news where you can review the play-by-play, browse archetypes faced, and watch your ELO move over time. • Optional team mode: share match data with teams you explicitly opt into.

What you get on wayfinder.news • Personal match log with searchable opponents, decks, and dates. • ELO and Glicko ratings updated after every captured game. • Replay of every game from the captured state — review board states, played cards, and discard piles. • A public, searchable replay library at replay.wayfinder.news — anonymized, so you can study the field without exposing who played. • Meta and matchup analysis across the broader player base.

Privacy • Captures only happen on Karabast.net pages — nothing is read or sent from any other site. • You sign in to wayfinder.news once via the extension popup; matches are tied to your account. • Recording is on by default but can be paused per-session or globally. • Replays in the public library are anonymized — player names are never shown there. • Public meta statistics never include personally identifying information. • Full privacy policy at https://plugin.wayfinder.news/privacy.

Installing

1. Install this app from the App Store.
2. On iOS: open Settings → Safari → Extensions → Wayfinder Companion → enable.
3. On macOS: open Safari → Settings → Extensions → enable Wayfinder Companion.
4. Grant per-site permissions for karabast.net and protectthepod.com when Safari prompts.
5. Open the extension popup and sign in to wayfinder.news.
