Tessera Crosswords

Tessera is a clued crossword for people who love words — in more than one language. Solve in English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, or Italian, or mix up to three of them in a single grid where Straße crosses house crosses casa.

LANGUAGES - Every clue is written in its answer's native language. Crossings work on the A–Z canonical form, so año and house share their letters cleanly. The diacritics stay on the surface for display.

THEMES AND DIFFICULTY - Forty-two hand-authored themes — animals, cinema, cooking, music, geography, sport, more — each validated by a quality harness before it ever ships. Pick a theme for a small focused puzzle, or leave it open for the full word pool. Choose easy, medium, or hard. The grid generator scales to the available pool, so a tightly themed selection becomes a clean mini-puzzle, not a frustrating empty board.
