Endpointly – API Watch is a comprehensive iOS app designed for monitoring API endpoints and managing service health efficiently. The Dashboard serves as the main screen, featuring a hero status card that indicates system health (Operational/Degraded) with a clear indicator, live metrics such as the number of monitors, uptime percentage, average response time, and active incidents. Users have quick access to all tools via a grid of 10 shortcuts. The Monitors section lists API endpoints with details including name, URL, HTTP method (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), status (Operational/Degraded/Down), response time, and last checked timestamp. Adding new monitors is simple, requiring a name, URL, method, and expected status code, with manual checks available individually or all at once via pull-to-refresh. Health Checks provide four automated tests for the primary monitor: API availability (HEAD request), SSL certificate validity, DNS reachability, and response validation including JSON checks. Incidents are logged automatically with severity levels (Critical, Warning, Info), linked to endpoints, timestamps, and descriptions, and can be resolved or cleared through context menus and toolbar options. Collections allow grouping endpoints into named sets with customizable icons and colors, supporting full CRUD operations and cascade deletion of endpoints. Request History tracks all performed requests chronologically, showing endpoint name, method, status code with color coding, response time, and relative timestamps, with detailed JSON inspection available on tap. Analytics offers performance insights through charts displaying response times, success rates, and status code distributions, alongside average metrics and total request counts. Quick Test enables one-off URL testing with selectable HTTP methods and example APIs, showing status code, response time, payload size, and a preview of the response body. SSL Inspector checks SSL certificates by hostname, displaying subject, issuer, validity period, days remaining, and a validity badge. Endpoint Compare allows side-by-side comparison of two API endpoints with simultaneous requests and detailed result metrics. JSON Inspector provides a tree-view navigation of JSON responses loaded from URLs, with expandable nodes and automatic unfolding of initial levels. Finally, Global Search lets users find monitors, incidents, request history entries, and collections by name, URL, or description, grouping results by category with counters for easy navigation.
