DZone Pilot

DZone Pilot is the cockpit companion for skydiving jump pilots. It helps you plan the climb and fly a precise jump run — using only your phone's GPS and motion sensors, with no account, no login, and no drop zone hardware required.

Whether you're flying a single pass to height or stacking multiple exit heights for a busy load, DZone Pilot gives you a clear, heads-up picture of where to climb, when to turn in, and how to hold an accurate line over the spot.

PLAN BEFORE YOU FLY • Save aircraft presets — climb performance, start-gate distance and more, per airframe. • Pull a pre-flight weather briefing (QNH and winds aloft) so you know what you're climbing into. • Set a working area / fence radius around the drop zone so you can maintain a safe distance.

FLY AN ACCURATE JUMP RUN • Predicted climb path: DZone Pilot continuously computes the most efficient flyable route to arrive at the run-in — established and aligned — at your target exit altitude, accounting for your aircraft's climb performance, bank, and the wind. • A moving map plus an optional "highway in the sky" HUD showing the run-in line, your climb arc, the exit point and altitude. • Multiple run-ins per flight: sequence exit altitudes in order and let the app step you through each pass. • A live wind estimate built from your track, heading and airspeed — no guesswork over the spot. • DG-style heading trim with automatic ground-roll calibration, so your compass reads true. • GPS-derived altitude above the ground — no barometer needed.

BUILT FOR THE WAY JUMP PILOTS WORK • Fully self-contained in the air — no cellular signal, drop zone network or extra avionics required.
