QRassic

"QRassic" is a mobile fossil-collecting game where you unearth prehistoric bones, ancient relics, and cryptid remains by scanning QR codes in the real world. Each scan reveals a fossil piece from a themed excavation site somewhere in the world's most famous fossil beds.

HOW TO PLAY

Launch the app, and aim the scanner at any QR code (on a receipt, a business card, a product package, or anywhere else) to scan it. Each scan unearths a random discovery from species including dinosaurs, Ice Age mammals, ancient hominids, and mythological cryptids. Every species is made up of 8 fossil fragments (from skulls and ribs to claws and complete skeletons) each with unique flavor text describing what you've found and where it originated.

FEATURES • Over 150 Unique Fossil Pieces: Dig up bones from over a dozen species including Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Woolly Mammoth, Smilodon, Neanderthal, and even a Dragon. Each species has 7 individual bone fragments plus a rare complete skeleton reconstruction. • Museum Gallery: View your collection in the Museum tab, see which fossils and relics you've unearthed, and track your progress toward completing every skeleton. • Unique Mint Numbers: Each discovery is serialized based on when you unearthed it. Earlier scans yield lower mint numbers. Premium Scanner (one-time purchase) removes scan cooldowns and ads. Tool packs are consumable items that narrow down the draw lottery to find discoveries aided by the tool you equip. Each tool pack contains 10 uses. Some scans will yield a discovery that ignores your equipped tool and you will get to use it on a future scan.
