IFI Scavenger Hunt

Explore US cities with IFI, and race to capture photo challenges before time runs out. This app provides Real-time scoring, live maps, and on-call support

IFI Scavenger Hunt is a team-based photo scavenger hunt app for International Friendships, Inc. (IFI) events.

Join your team with a code, work through your list of photo challenges at locations around the host city, and submit a team photo at each one. Judges review your submissions, and your team's score updates live as you go.

Built by International Friendships, Inc. (IFI) for our community of international students, scholars, and their friends, this is the official app for IFI National Scavenger Hunt events.

HOW IT WORKS • Participate with your IFI location, and sign up for the scavenger hunt when announced • Get a join code from your team and hop in—no account required • Browse your list of photo challenges, from famous landmarks to hidden gems • Snap a team photo at each spot and submit it right from the app • Watch your submissions get reviewed and your score climb in real time • Need a hand or a water refill? Send a request and our support van will find you on the map

Additional feature notes • Live scoring—your team's total updates as judges approve your submissions • Maps can show your support van's location in real time and share your location so the volunteers can keep you hydrated and safe. • Available in 20+ languages • Challenges are grouped into sections to keep your list easy to work through • No account required—just a join code to start playing

HOW TO JOIN Scavenger hunts are run by IFI at participating locations. If there's an IFI location near you, ask them how to take part in an upcoming hunt—then use your team's join code to hop in.
