Built by a beekeeper and forager who got tired of scribbling harvest amounts on scraps of paper and then failing to remember, a year later, where the good mushrooms had been.

Ernterei is the app for people who make things themselves — beekeepers, chicken keepers, gardeners, mushroom and herb foragers, anglers, bread bakers and anyone who cans and preserves.

YOUR HARVEST DIARY Record what you harvest, forage and produce — with dates, quantities, photos, location and notes. Categories for every area: beekeeping, chicken keeping, gardening, herbs and wild plants, mushroom foraging, fishing and smoking, winemaking, canning and preserving, bread and sourdough, and equipment — or create your own. Works offline too: entries and photos sync automatically once you're back in range.

SPECIES ALBUM Mushrooms, herbs, fish and more are recognised automatically as you log them and collected in your album. Every species comes with a well-researched article — and as your collection grows, you level up.

PANTRY Turn entries straight into pantry items — with a best-before traffic light, a remaining-quantity counter and storage locations. Never forget what's down in the cellar again.

RECIPES FROM YOUR ENTRIES Capture what you made from your harvest right on the journal entry — with ingredients and steps. Keep it private, share it as a beautiful recipe card, or post it to the community.

PHOTOGRAPH A RECIPE (Pro) The good recipes are rarely where you go looking for them — in a cookbook, on a scrap of paper, in last summer's magazine. Photograph the page and Ernterei fills in the ingredients and the method. You check it, correct it, save it. Quantities, times and temperatures are carried over word for word and checked for plausibility — when you're canning or fermenting, that's no small thing. The original photo stays with the recipe as a reference.

SOURDOUGH PLANNER From starter to finished loaf: the planner guides you step by step through your baking schedule — with reminders at just the right time.
