Live sim racing dashboard
Real-time sim racing telemetry: a neon HUD, every official track pre-loaded, lap analysis on the map, and ghost-race replays you can export as video.
Apex Copilot turns your iPhone or iPad into a real-time telemetry dashboard and race engineer for the Forza Horizon series — a fighter-jet targeting computer for your car. Open the app, point the game's Data Out stream at it over Wi-Fi, and every gauge comes alive at the game's frame rate.
No wires. No account. Just live data from your console or PC, on a second screen on your desk.
WORKS ACROSS THE FORZA HORIZON SERIES
Apex Copilot reads the standard "Data Out" telemetry feed, so the live HUD, input scope and G-force work with any game in the Forza Horizon series that broadcasts it — Forza Horizon 4, 5 and 6. The built-in world map and official-race catalog are tuned for Forza Horizon 6.
A RACING HUD BUILT FOR THE APEX
- A 270° neon tachometer with a redline band and a shift-light bar that tells you exactly when to upshift.
- Giant gear and speed readouts you can read at a glance.
- Segmented throttle, brake, clutch and steering bars.
- A friction-circle G-force ball with a fading grip trail.
- A live best-lap delta bar, so you always know if you're up or down.
EVERY OFFICIAL TRACK, BUILT IN
All 80 official races ship pre-loaded, each with its real route already drawn on the world map — discipline, length and lap count included — before you've driven a single one. Drive an event and your attempts attach to the right track automatically; improvise a route of your own and it's logged as a custom track.
A RACE LOG THAT REMEMBERS EVERY LAP
Every attempt is recorded: lap times, sectors, corners, top speed, and whether you crossed the finish line or bailed. The log is car-aware too — the same track in different cars keeps separate records, with per-car personal bests. Drill down from a track to a race to a single corner and see exactly where the time went.
SEE WHERE YOU LOSE TIME
The Track Map traces your route from world position and colors it by speed — or by time gained and lost versus your best lap — so you can see exactly which corner is costing you. It works for circuits and point-to-point street races alike.
REPLAY ANY LAP. RACE YOUR GHOSTS.
Play back any lap as an animated replay over the map — or run two attempts as a time-synced ghost race with a timing tower and live, ticking sector splits. Then export the battle as a video clip and share it.
EVERY INPUT ON ONE SCOPE
A scrolling oscilloscope plots throttle, brake, RPM, speed, steering and slip together, so you can spot the inputs behind every mistake.
TIRES, GRIP & DRIVETRAIN
Per-corner tire temperatures, slip ratio and angle, combined slip, suspension travel, drivetrain layout, axle grip use, and water and rumble-strip indicators — the full picture of what your car is doing.
RACE-READY TOUCHES
- The screen stays awake while telemetry is streaming, and sleeps normally in menus.
- Telemetry-tied haptics fire when you enter the shift window or break traction.
- A global units preference (MPH / KM·H) drives every speed readout.
TRY IT WITHOUT A CONSOLE
A built-in demo mode drives a car around a circuit so the whole app is alive before you even connect.
HOW TO CONNECT
In Forza Horizon, open Settings ▸ HUD and Gameplay ▸ Data Out, set the IP address and port shown on the Connection screen, and start driving. Telemetry flows only while you're on track.
