Phoundr

A new kind of social network for founders. No algorithm. Just founders talking to founders.

Phoundr is a mobile social network for startup founders.

The feed is chronological by design — posts appear newest first, with no algorithm and no trending tab. A Following tab narrows it to founders you follow. Posts are text only, up to 500 characters. Members can reply, react with any emoji, join groups (open or invite-only), send direct messages, and save posts for later. Direct messages require a mutual follow. Profiles show a founder stage: idea, building, shipped, or live. There are no profile photos.

Every account is verified by phone, and the app is restricted to users 18 and older.

Moderation tools include muting, blocking, and reporting.

Phoundr is invite-only and free. It has no ads and no in-app purchases, and does not sell user data or track users across other apps. Product analytics is opt-in at signup and revocable anytime in Settings. Direct messages are encrypted at rest with a Phoundr-managed key, layered above the database provider's encryption.
