Stop Motion MT (for Magic Tricks) is an app dedicated to object animation via sequential photo capture; these photos can be viewed and edited within the app and exported as an MP4 video or a ZIP file containing a sequence of JPG images.

The interface is simple and intuitive, offering all the features needed for full-control animation. The goal is to democratize access to stop-motion animation for everyone, from beginners to those aiming for professional-grade results.

The app's standout feature is its compatibility with external keyboards for remote control. Stop Motion MT supports both Bluetooth and USB keyboards, allowing you to operate every function without touching the camera—not just capturing images, but also navigating frame-by-frame (forward and back), playing back specific segments or the entire scene, using onion skinning, flipping the image, adjusting FPS, and much more.

The camera offers complete control, ranging from automatic to fully manual modes. Even photography settings—such as focus, zoom, white balance, shutter speed, and ISO—can be controlled remotely, modified frame-by-frame, and even animated. All settings are saved per scene, ensuring finer control and a smoother animation process.

On the timeline, you can delete, duplicate, and repeat frames or entire segments (with an undo function), as well as easily adjust the playback speed (frames per second)—all without altering the original photos. The app also allows you to import a reference video to animate over (with adjustable opacity, scale, and position) and add a frame-synchronized audio track, featuring a timeline waveform and frame-by-frame audio monitoring for precise synchronization.

Complete your workflow with adjustable onion skinning, composition grids, time-lapse mode, and final export—including reference video and audio—all within the app and without requiring an internet connection. The free version allows you to create scenes in 720p with all features unlocked. The Pro version adds Full HD and 4K resolutions for professional-grade output.
