Cor is a stripped back, people-only social platform with one single purpose: to be a space where you see what your friends post, and they see what you post.

That's it. No ads. No algorithms. No public profiles. No AI. No counts. No unlimited follows. Just the people you actually know, posting for each other, and nothing more to see once you've seen it.

JUST FOR FRIENDS Cor caps every member at 500 followers. It's based on Dunbar's number: the idea that we maintain different levels of connection at different sizes, from your 5 closest people up to your 500 broader acquaintances. Most social apps optimize for unlimited reach. Cor optimizes for the opposite: a feed made up entirely of people you actually know.

HOW IT WORKS Your feed is chronological, with photo, video, and text content all in one place. Once you've caught up to what you've already seen, Cor lets you know, so you can close the app and get on with your day.

There's no algorithm and no For You page, which means your feed is naturally finite. It's only ever as long as the actual activity from the people you're connected to, capped at 500. No infinite scroll, no endless well of content designed to keep you swiping.

There's no public discovery, no follower counts, no like counts to chase. Cor isn't built to be scrolled for hours.

NO AI Your posts are yours. Cor will never use your content to train AI models, full stop, no opt-out required because there's nothing to opt out of. That's a deliberate stance, not a footnote: as other platforms quietly shift to letting AI draw from your profile unless you catch the setting and turn it off, Cor simply doesn't do that, for anyone, ever.

MEMBERSHIP, NOT USERS We call the people on Cor members, not users, because that's a more honest description of our relationship. You're not here to be monetized by an algorithm or mined for training data. You're here because you want a smaller, calmer, more honest version of what social media used to feel like.

PEOPLE-FUNDED, NOT AD-FUNDED We don't sell your data, we don't sell ad space, and we never will. When an app is free, you're usually the product. Cor is free right now, but as we grow, we'll move to a people-funded model so we can keep this platform simple, human, and ad-free. Forever.
