Social media has drifted far from its original purpose. Endless feeds, endless amounts of content, algorithms deciding what you see, and your data being sold off. Frapic brings back social media the way it used to be.

What makes this app different? You only see what your friends post. Your feed contains only photos and videos from your friends — not from profiles you don't even follow. You should be free to share what you feel like sharing again, without first worrying about how it looks to others.

What can I post? You can upload your posts, which stay in the feed for others to see forever. Or you can share your moments live with the Story feature. Your stories can be recorded the classic way, from a single perspective, or with the dual-camera feature, capturing both perspectives at once. All your stories can then be enhanced with stickers, text, and music.

Your profile is what makes the difference here: Your posts are saved in Journals. This lets you bundle all your posts and stories in one place and add a journal entry to them. The special part: all your uploaded posts can be shown precisely on a map, so you never forget where your memories were made.

Here's the most important part again: • No algorithm – your feed is sorted the way your friends actually posted • No doomscrolling – if there's no new content, nothing more gets shown • No public profiles – you have to know who you want to add • No selling of data – your data belongs only to you and your friends • No upload filters – your content isn't analyzed or rated
