D-Day Explorer is a collaborative, multilingual mobile app designed to help users explore the historic sites of the D-Day landings and the Battle of Normandy.

It allows users to view a map of sites, monuments, museums, ruins, events, and itineraries, complete with historical descriptions, practical information, and multilingual content in English, Dutch, French, German and Spanish.

The app helps users plan a visit to Normandy, find favorite places, mark sites they’ve visited, and keep track of commemorative events.

It features both online and offline modes, with built-in local data, to make it easier to use on the go.

Users can also suggest new sites or add current photos. Contributions are sent to a moderation queue before publication.

D-Day Explorer is designed for visitors, families, history enthusiasts, tour guides, teachers, and researchers who wish to explore the traces of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.
