It's the human answer to AI image generators. Instead of an algorithm making pixels from a prompt, real people read the prompt and draw it — black ink on warm paper, one stroke at a time. We call it the first non-AI generative art model.

THERE ARE NO WRONG ANSWERS A prompt like "a fistful of flowers" becomes a hundred different drawings. The point is the human hand — the wobble, the wit, the choices an algorithm wouldn't make.

THE STORY Prompt-Brush began as a project by designer and art director Pablo Delcan — a visual contributor to The New York Times — who invited the public to submit prompts and drew them himself, by hand. That collection became the book "Prompt-Brush 1.0: The First Non-AI Generative Art Model." This app opens the studio to everyone.
