Overview

Features & Capabilities

PixelDisc is a top-down 2D disc golf game with a retro pixel art style. Pick up your disc, read the course, and throw your way to the basket — one hole at a time.

THE THROW Power, direction, angle, release — four taps, and every one of them is yours to get wrong. Aim along a compass arc that narrows as your accuracy improves. Set your release on a disc that really tilts, and watch it hold that angle down the fairway.

Give it more anhyzer than the disc, your power or the wind can carry and it turns over, loses its lift and drops out of the sky. Ease off the power and you can still save it. The preview line shows you exactly where it goes.

The two hands are not the same throw. The backhand is longer; the forehand holds a far deeper anhyzer without falling out of the air, and bites harder when it lands.

CAREER MODE Build your player from the ground up. Earn PixelCoins on the course and invest them in private lessons: power and touch for each hand, plus putting and scramble. Buy discs and fill your bag. Every improvement is permanent and synced to your Game Center account — so your progress is safe even if you switch phones or reinstall.

Discs are real property here. Throw one into water or out of bounds and it can be gone for good — but someone always picks it up. Four times in ten they keep it. Otherwise they hand it back, ask a couple of coins for their trouble, or demand ten and let you walk away empty-handed.

A NEW COURSE EVERY DAY Three daily modes, identical for every player, played on skills generated for the day — so the day is a level field.

DAILY CHALLENGE — three holes. Three attempts, your best one counts. CLOSEST TO PIN — two shots from the tee, one backhand and one forehand. Lowest combined distance to the pin wins. One attempt. SURVIVAL — an endless course that scrolls up and never stops. Land out of bounds, land in water, or let the wave catch you, and the run is over. Score is how far you got. One attempt.

Come back tomorrow and do it again.

WEEKLY TOURNAMENT Two full courses open every week for all players at once, with a pool of skill points you spend before you tee off. Each hand is capped, so you build a cannon or a scalpel — never both. One attempt each, and progress saves between sessions so you can finish later.

CUSTOM CHALLENGE Build a challenge and put it out there: 3, 6 or 9 holes, random or hand-picked, played with your own career gear or with skills and discs you fix for everyone. For three days after you finish your round, any player can attempt the exact same holes and wind to beat your score. Free to enter, free to lose.

QUICK PLAY A round on your own terms, offline. 3, 6 or 9 holes, random or hand-picked, no daily limit, and your discs are never at risk.

LEADERBOARDS Every career course keeps its own all-time record — set one and hold it until someone beats it. The daily boards reset each morning, and Survival and Closest to Pin each keep a permanent board on top: furthest total distance ever survived, and your ten best rounds averaged. Win a weekly placing and you carry it beside your name on the daily board all week.

RETRO FEEL Crisp pixel fonts, a dark color palette, and a top-down view that keeps the focus on the shot. No fluff, no ads, no paywalls — just disc golf.

Works offline. Progress syncs automatically via Game Center when you're connected.

Almost daily updates merit a five star. Dudes adding new stuff every day

You spend more time spending your coins on lost discs than being able to spend them on skill points to improve your player. Too heavily skewed towards losing discs, although you get a “chance” at redeeming the lost disc…
