WHAT IT DOES

Scan and organize. A document scanner done right: turn any paper into a crisp PDF in seconds with your camera, complete with edge detection and perspective correction. Adjust, crop, rotate, and reorder pages without ever altering the original.

Track renewal dates automatically. Point the scanner at a passport, licence, insurance card, warranty, or receipt and PaperKeep reads the expiry date for you. No typing.

Get reminded before anything expires. Choose how far ahead you want a heads-up (six months, three, one, or a custom date) and PaperKeep sends a local notification. A built-in inbox keeps every reminder in one place, and "Mark renewed" quietly snoozes a document once you have handled it.

Fill and sign. Drop a saved signature, initials, date, or timestamp onto any document, drag to position, and export. Signatures are reusable and the original stays untouched.

Mark up and redact. Draw, highlight, add text, boxes, and whiteout. Need to hide something? True Redact flattens your marks into the page image, so covered content is baked out of the picture, not just hidden behind a box.

Convert to Word or Text. Turn any document into an editable .docx or .txt file, with Word tables rebuilt from the page, plus OCR for scans.

Combine ID cards onto one page. Scan the front and back of any ID and PaperKeep lays them out on one page at real card size, ready to print.

Save business cards to Contacts. Scan a card and PaperKeep pulls out the name, title, company, phone, email, and address, ready to save straight into your Contacts.

Generate and scan QR codes and barcodes. For links, Wi-Fi, or contacts. Save or share them.

Merge, split, import. Combine documents, split a long PDF into pieces, and import existing PDFs or photos from Files or Photos.

Secure folders. Lock your most sensitive folders and documents behind Face ID. Locked content stays locked, even when opened from a reminder, and hides itself in the app switcher.

EVERYTHING ON YOUR DEVICE PaperKeep is offline-first. There is no account to create. The scanner, OCR, expiry detection, reminders, signing, and conversion all run on your device, using Apple's built-in frameworks. Everything stays on your iPhone or iPad by default. Optional iCloud sync is off until you turn it on. When you do, your documents sync only through your own private iCloud account, protected by Apple's iCloud encryption; PaperKeep never sees them. We collect no analytics and embed no third-party trackers.

CARD-SAFE BY DESIGN When you scan a payment card, PaperKeep aims to keep only the expiry date and the last four digits, not the card image or full number. The reminder still fires when renewal time comes.
