SIMPLE BY DESIGN Most prayer apps feel heavy — bloated with banners, popups, and features nobody asked for. Light is different. Every screen is clean, fast, and focused. It works exactly the way you expect it to, and nothing gets in the way of your worship.

FREE TO USE & AD-FREE Light is completely free to download and use. There are no ads, no premium tiers, no subscriptions, and no paywalls. It is built as a service to the Muslim community, not as a product to monetize.

ACCURATE PRAYER TIMES Prayer times are calculated using your GPS coordinates and the world's most trusted algorithms. Choose from 13 calculation methods — North America (ISNA), Muslim World League, Egyptian, Umm Al-Qura, Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore, Tehran, Turkey, and more. Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha are displayed clearly with a live countdown to the next prayer.

Supports both Standard (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) and Hanafi Asr jurisprudence.

REMINDERS & NOTIFICATIONS Set custom notifications with custom sounds for any prayer and other important times such as sunrise, middle of the night, or last third of the night. You can set the notification time to be at exact time, or minutes before. Alarms are scheduled up to 30 days in advance and replenished silently in the background.

FULL ADHAN PLAYBACK Hear the complete Adhan. If you choose the Adhan sound for your reminders, you can tap the notification fired at prayer time or open the app within a minute of a prayer time to listen to the full Adhan playback in-app.

Also useful when you are about to break your fast: let the Maghrib Adhan play in full as the signal to break your fast.

HIJRI CALENDAR & UPCOMING ISLAMIC EVENTS A full monthly Gregorian/Hijri dual calendar lets you see prayer times for any day, plan ahead for Islamic dates, and always know today's Hijri date at a glance.

QIBLA COMPASS Find the Qibla direction anywhere in the world using your device's live compass and GPS. The compass rotates in real time so you can orient yourself accurately wherever you are.

YOUR PRIVACY IS RESPECTED Your location is used only on your device to calculate prayer times. It is never stored on a server, never sold, and never shared with anyone. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for. What happens on your phone stays on your phone.
