Directory is a focused iPhone companion for pastors, staff, elders, and ministry leaders who use Planning Center. Planning Center remains the source of truth. Directory makes the people and household information you are permitted to see faster to find and easier to act on.

Live Planning Center access requires a separately purchased Monthly or Yearly auto-renewable subscription. Eligible new subscribers can start a 7-day free trial. Try Demo Directory is available without a subscription and uses fictional data stored locally on the device.

FIND PEOPLE FAST

Search your selected directory by name, phone number, or address. Phone number formatting does not matter, and Directory shows why each result matched. Open a person to call, text, email, get directions, or save that contact when you choose.

CARE WITH CONTEXT

People Map gives you a visual sense of where households live. Open Nearby from a contact card to center the map on that person and see nearby households at a glance. Permitted Planning Center household context keeps adults and children together, even when someone is outside your selected directory list.

Milestones brings the next three months into view. See Planning Center birthdays and anniversaries alongside baptisms and other private care milestones you record for the people you serve.

KEEP PRAYER CLOSE TO THE PERSON

Create general or person-linked prayer requests, organize them as active or ongoing, and mark them answered. Prayer requests and private milestones are never written back to Planning Center. When iCloud Sync is enabled, they sync through your private iCloud account using encrypted CloudKit fields.

Directory prepares permitted Planning Center People data for protected offline use. Household context is read-only and remains in protected app-owned local storage. Map preparation sends addresses directly to Apple's geocoding service; the app does not request or use your current location.
