Steady is a reminder that behaves like an alarm clock.

Not a notification you scroll past. It rings through Silent and through Focus, it stays on the screen, and it doesn't go away until you actually answer it — I took it, Snooze, or Skip. That's the whole idea, and everything else in the app exists to serve it.

IT KEEPS ASKING

Most reminder apps fire once. If you're asleep, in the shower, or your phone is face-down on a table, that's the end of it. Steady books the follow-up rings in advance, so it comes back whether or not the app is running — and stops the moment you answer, from the alarm screen, the Today list, or anywhere else.

SET IT UP IN ABOUT A MINUTE

Pick a type, name it, choose times: once on a date you pick, at set times, every day, on chosen weekdays, every other day, or every few weeks. Pick a start day and the calendar shows every day it will ring before you save. Reminders before 9 AM ask you to confirm you really want waking. Quiet hours hold anything due overnight until morning rather than dropping it.

A RECORD YOU CAN ACTUALLY USE

Steady keeps every check-off and every dose change, with dates. Export it as a PDF to print or hand to a doctor, or as a backup file the app can read back — so "what dose was I on three years ago" has an answer, on a new phone or after a reinstall.

WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES

Steady keeps your reminders and logs on this phone. There is no Steady server, so they are never uploaded, sold, or read by us. If your iPhone backs itself up to iCloud, it includes Steady's data in that backup the same way it includes every other app's — that backup is Apple's and yours, not ours.
