Nippon Seiha is a travel log for Japan. Tap the sightseeing spots you have visited and watch the map of Japan fill in, prefecture by prefecture. Where you have been, where you have not, and how far you are from covering the whole country — all of it at a glance, so the next trip is already taking shape.

■ What you can do

[Spots organized by region and prefecture] Sightseeing spots across Japan, sorted by region and prefecture. Visited and not-yet-visited are easy to tell apart while you browse, which is half the fun of deciding where to go next.

[Check in with one tap] Tap a spot you have been to and it is recorded. Your completion rate for that region goes up immediately, and filling in the last few spots of a region turns into its own reason to travel.

[Build an album with dates, notes, and photos] Save the date you went, a few words about it, and your favourite photos to each spot. When you went and what it was like stays with you, ready to look through again any time.

[Search and filter] Look up a spot you have in mind, or show only the places you have not been to yet. A dependable second opinion when you are deciding on the next destination.

[Photo viewer] Open your saved photos full size and go back to that day.

Supporter is an auto-renewable subscription: ¥600 per month, or ¥4,800 per year (¥400 a month) in the Japan store. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. ■ Language The app follows your device language. Set your device to Japanese for Japanese, or to any other language for English. Spot names, prefectures, addresses, and descriptions are all translated.

■ Privacy No account and no sign-in. Your visit records and photos are stored on your device. Photo library access is used to attach photos to a visit record. Camera access is used to take a photo for a visit record.
