Doku: Metrodoku & Pokédoku

Geodoku grows: two new editions, the 101 French departments and the 50 US states. State capitals, coastlines, rivers, time zones.

That's Doku. A 3×3 grid, nine cells, and at every intersection an answer that has to satisfy the row AND the column. Same idea as sudoku, except you fill it with metro stations, countries or heroes instead of digits.

Flags, currencies, languages, state capitals, coastlines, rivers. Loldoku: League of Legends champions. Pokédoku: all 1025 species. Dotadoku: Dota 2 heroes, nicknames included. Type "cm" or "antimage" and search keeps up.

You choose which ones appear on your home screen. Hide the rest, without losing any of your scores.

▶ ONE GRID A DAY The same one for everyone, with its difficulty announced before you start.

▶ THE ORIGINALITY SCORE Everyone answers King's Cross. Answer something else. The rarer your answer among today's players, the more it scores. A grid finished in thirty seconds with the nine obvious answers is worth very little.

▶ STREAKS, FRIENDS, LEADERBOARD Miss a day and the streak goes back to zero. Add friends and compare today's grid cell by cell: you find out fairly quickly who was bluffing about knowing the metro.
