Эбжуд инжилла хабурте

The 'Эбжуд инжилла хабурте' app is designed for native speakers of the Kubachi language and those interested in it. It includes Kubachi translations of Old Testament books: the Book of the Prophet Yunus (Jonah) and the Book of Ruth. The translation was produced by native Kubachi speakers in Dagestan in collaboration with a team of biblical and linguistic specialists from the Institute for Bible Translation (IBT). The translation was created using an oral method, resulting first in an audio recording, which was subsequently transcribed into text. The app offers an opportunity to study the Kubachi language. Internet access is required to stream audio synchronized with the text. In the "Settings" menu, you can select the "Download audio" option; this requires an internet connection only once to download the files to your device, after which they can be listened to offline. As the audio plays, the corresponding text segment is highlighted; this feature can be disabled in the settings.

The app allows users to listen to audio recordings of specific selected passages. A simple tap on the text lets you either play the audio for that verse or place the verse over an image. You can choose an image from within the app or from your device's gallery. The text overlay can be visually customized using the photo-quote editor, and the resulting image can be shared via messaging apps and social media.

Users can:

• highlight verses in different colors, add bookmarks, and write notes;
• search by keyword;
• view their reading history;
• share the Apple App Store link with others;
• adjust the font size in the "Text Appearance" section and choose a different color scheme: sepia or light text on a black background.

The app also includes Russian and English translations. They can be connected in line-sequential mode or in parallel as a second screen.
