Tennis is the easy part. Finding someone to play is not.

ofSports matches tennis players by when they're actually free. You post the hours you can play, you see the players near you whose free time overlaps yours, and you take it from there.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Post when you're free. Pick your days and hours, and choose who can see it — everyone, just your friends, or one specific group or club.

2. See who fits. Players near you with genuinely overlapping availability, ordered so the closest fits come first.

3. Ask for a slot. Request an hour inside someone's window rather than their whole evening, and they accept or decline.

4. Chat and play. When someone accepts, a private chat opens so the two of you can settle where and when.

WHO YOU PLAY WITH

• Set the level, distance and gender preferences that matter to you, and only see players who fit. • Add friends with a friend code, and make groups for the people you play with regularly. • Join a club with its invite code to see its members, its match board and what it has on.

CLUBS AND EVENTS

• Clubs have their own board of who's free, announcements from the organiser, and a monthly leaderboard. • Organisers can run events — socials, tournaments, drill sessions — and you can browse and sign up from Explore.

KEEPING SCORE

• Your match history keeps every game you've played. • Monthly leaderboards among your friends, or inside a club or group. • A quick wrap-up after each match: did you play, and how was it.

PRIVACY AND SAFETY

• Chat messages are deleted about seven days after they're sent. • Block or report any player. Blocking takes effect immediately and works both ways. • Location is used only while the app is open, rounded to about 100 metres, and never collected in the background. The app works without it. • Delete your account, and everything in it, from your profile at any time.

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD

• Tennis only, for now. • 18 and over. • ofSports is invitation-only while we're in beta — you'll need a code. • This is for finding a game, not a date. • We help you find someone to play with. We don't organise, book or supervise matches, we don't vet players, and we don't inspect courts. Use your judgement, tell someone your plans, and meet somewhere public.
