Local ScannerPro scans documents, recognizes text, compresses images, adds watermarks, counts photos, identifies objects, and measures with AR locally.

Local ScannerPro is a minimal local-first scanning utility that turns your iPhone into a portable scanning workspace.

Capture with the camera or import from Photos to scan documents, recognize text, add image watermarks, count selected areas in photos, identify common objects, and measure distance with AR. The app keeps the main experience simple with two tabs: Scan and Mine.

Key features:

• Document Scan: capture or import images, correct document edges, and preview clean scan-style pages.
• Text Recognition: extract text from images, then copy or edit the result.
• Image Watermark: add text watermarks to images for quick marking and ownership reminders.
• Photo Count: select the area you want to count, run local approximate counting, and manually correct markers.
• Object Scan: use local model and system vision features to identify common objects, with names, categories, confidence, and local details.
• AR Measure: use ARKit for point-to-point distance and plane measurement. Results are for reference only.
• Pro Tools: export PDF, save scanned images, save watermarked images, and use AR Measure.
• Image processing: Image compression, remove EXIF.

Privacy and local processing:

Local ScannerPro is designed to process scanning, OCR, image operations, counting, object recognition, and AR measurement on device whenever possible. The current version does not upload your images, documents, or recognized content by default. When you save images or share PDFs, the content is handled by Photos, Files, or the third-party app you choose.

Accuracy notice:

OCR, photo counting, object recognition, and AR measurement may be affected by lighting, angle, image clarity, occlusion, device hardware, and model capability. Results are for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, engineering acceptance, or other high-risk decisions.

App features require a subscription to use. Subscription rules are as follows:

Free Trial: New users can enjoy a 3‑day free trial on their first subscription. After the trial ends, the current subscription fee will be charged.

Auto‑Renewal: The app subscription automatically renews. If you do not wish to renew, please cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends.
