The WhozDat App is a cognitive matching game designed to help individuals (such as parents, grandparents, or those experiencing memory challenges) stay connected with their family and friends by reinforcing the connection between faces, names, and voices. It can also be used to create identification games with birds, animals, musical instruments, flowers, or something else you want to learn.

To create your own game, you can add and crop photos of your friends and/or family or any other objects you wish to learn their names. Optionally, you can add a personal greeting from each person. The WhozDat website makes that easy to do remotely, or you can do it locally through the app. For other objects you can include the bird's song or the sound of the musical instrument.

If you have a family member with a difficult-to-pronounce name, you can include the phonetic spelling of the name so that it gets pronounced correctly. For example, the app out of the box mispronounces "Pileated Woodpecker." Adding "Pilleated Woodpecker" to the pronunciations will get it correct.

With the Premium version, you can store and load multiple games from a single device and load and store games from one device to another. In addition, the Premium version allows you to use a higher-quality voice during the game. Even without the Premium option, you can fully utilize all aspects of the game except save and load.
