Scelis is a background replacement and video creation app for people who want to turn their own photos into clean visual works. You can take a new photo with the camera or upload an image from your photo library, choose a background style and tone, and generate a new image with a different scene. The app uses a simple flow: add a portrait or scene, pick a look, create the result, then save it, share it, or keep it in Works for later.

Scelis can be used for profile photos, social posts, personal edits, product-style shots, and everyday photo projects where you want a new background without using a complex editor. The Works page organizes generated images and videos in a two-column gallery. Each item can be opened again, saved to Photos, shared, or deleted from the device.

The app also supports image-to-video creation. After creating or opening a saved image record, you can generate a short video based on that image. Generated videos are saved inside Works, can be played in the Video page, and can be exported to your photo library when you choose. Video records use the original uploaded image as their cover.

Scelis is not a free app. The main creation features use coins, and coins can be obtained through paid in-app purchases or paid subscription plans. Generating one image consumes 30 coins. Generating one video consumes 100 coins. Coin packages are available as paid in-app purchases. Subscription plans are also paid and include subscription bonus coins. The App Store shows the final price before purchase.

Scelis uses coins for generation, including video generation. Subscription benefits are shown in the app and include subscription bonus coins, saving creations to the gallery, and priority customer support. If you restore a valid subscription, Scelis can restore your subscription status and, when eligible, grant the restore bonus once according to the app rules.

Privacy is part of the product design. Scelis does not collect user privacy information, face information, face identifiers, biometric templates, or data for face recognition. The app does not use your photos to identify who you are. Photos and videos you choose are used only to provide the editing and generation actions you request, to display previews, and to keep your Works records available on your device.

Scelis requests camera access so you can capture a new photo, photo library access so you can choose source images, and add-only photo library permission so you can save finished images or videos when you request it. These permissions are used only for the features described in the app.
