A private, local authenticator with offline TOTP/HOTP codes, Keychain storage, QR import, and encrypted local backups. No account required.

Authenticator is a private, local-first 2FA app for time-based and counter-based one-time codes. It does not require an account or a custom backend. Your secrets are stored locally in Keychain, and encrypted backups can be exported with your own passphrase.

Authenticator is not a password manager and does not store your login passwords. It only stores the secrets needed to generate one-time 2FA codes. Keep your backup file and backup passphrase safe; if the passphrase is lost, the app cannot recover the encrypted backup for you.
