Math-Nerd is a daily math puzzle game, built in collaboration with Laura Abbey, where you build equations from a hand of number and operator tiles to hit a target. It’s quick to learn, but Genius puzzles will push you to think creatively with parentheses, squares, and square roots.

How it works Each puzzle gives you a target number and a set of tiles (numbers, + − × ÷, and more on harder levels). Tap or drag tiles into the equation builder until your expression equals the target exactly. Fewer tiles and faster solves mean a higher score.

Daily puzzles Four difficulties every day:

Easy — addition and subtraction Medium — all basic operations Hard — parentheses included Genius — parentheses, squares (²), and square roots (√) Play today’s dailies from the chalkboard home screen — tap a difficulty and go. One official solve per difficulty per day counts for the leaderboard.

Dailies calendar & trophies Open the Dailies tab to see your progress on a calendar. Complete past days you missed and earn trophy tiers from Bronze (Easy) up to Platinum (Genius).

Statistics Track how you’re improving with Statistics — games played, best and worst scores, best and worst times, averages, and win streaks. Filter by time period (today, this week, this month, this year, or all time).

Leaderboards Claim a unique username to post scores to the global leaderboard. Compare daily, weekly, and all-time results by difficulty.

Practice Mode Want more than one puzzle a day? Practice Mode (in-app purchase) gives unlimited on-device puzzles at any difficulty — great for warming up or sharpening skills.
