You can filter by origin as well - British, Irish or American sayings, French, Belgian or Swiss, Spanish or Latin American, Portuguese or Brazilian. Picking a puzzle language is free and independent of the interface language.

HOW IT WORKS Tap an encrypted symbol and choose the letter you think is behind it. The guess applies across the whole quote at once, and every matching symbol lights up with it. The frequency strip shows which symbol appears most often - which is how a substitution cipher is actually broken. No timer, no guessing games.

THE TEXTS The corpus is curated and in the public domain: traditional proverbs and sayings, and quotes from authors whose copyright expired long ago. It sits locally in the app, and there is no user-generated content.
