WhisperNote turns what you whisper into text — and listens only when you whisper.

You tap once. WhisperNote watches the microphone for the unique spectral signature of whispered speech — quiet, breathy, mostly high frequencies. When it hears one, it starts transcribing. When you stop, it stops. Loud speech, fans, traffic, doors, and clattering plates are ignored.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No cloud. No ads, no tracking. Audio is analysed on-device by Apple's AVAudioEngine and transcribed on-device by Apple's Speech framework, and the audio itself is never saved — WhisperNote keeps the text. Your notes stay on your iPhone, and deleting the app deletes them.

THREE SENSITIVITY MODES • Strict — only the quietest whispers trigger. Best for silent rooms. • Default — tuned for an iPhone bottom mic in a typical quiet room. • Permissive — activates sooner. Useful with a fan or background hum.
