Freelax - Data Box Client

Use Czech data boxes in English. Freelax DS translates Czech PDFs into English, highlights important mail and keeps you notified.

Official mail can be a headache: deadlines, requests, and wording that's not always easy to follow. Freelax DS is a private, independent helper for your Czech data box (datová schránka / ISDS): important messages stand out at a glance, you quickly see what needs attention, and your credentials stay only on your device.

FREE • 1 data box • Read and view messages and attachments (PDF) inside the app • View locally cached messages without another sign-in; every live ISDS fetch is confirmed by you • Send a message to another data box • Sign in with Face ID / Touch ID • Local archive of saved messages on this device • A reminder when you haven't checked your box in a while • Scheduled check reminders on days and times you choose (local notifications only – no connection to your data box)

PRO (subscription) • Up to 3 data boxes in one place • An "Actions" view and importance traffic-light – instantly see what needs attention • Rich notifications based on message importance • Home-screen widgets • Optional check when the app opens, only on the days you choose – never runs silently in the background • Archive across all added data boxes • Plain-English context: quickly see what a Czech message or document is about, with explanations of Czech terms, amounts, and dates – informational only; always verify the original • Calendar reminders for messages you plan to handle • In the English interface: on-device Czech→English document translation (a reference aid, not a certified translation)

PRIVACY • Your credentials are stored only on your device in Keychain; they are used only to sign in directly to ISDS and are never sent to Freelax. • No ads, no tracking, no third-party AI services. • Translation and importance analysis run entirely offline on your device.

INDEPENDENT APP Freelax DS is not an official government app and is not affiliated with CZ.NIC or any authority. It is an independent helper for working with your own official correspondence.

IMPORTANT This app is an assistant, not a replacement for your own responsibility – tracking deadlines and responding to official mail is up to you. A live refresh of the received-message list from ISDS may, under Czech Act No. 300/2008 Coll., have the legal effects of delivery. Manual live refreshes are always confirmed by you; the optional check-on-open must first be explicitly enabled in Settings. The app never fetches messages silently in the background.
