Shinzokucho is a personal record of relatives and family relationships, designed around Japanese kinship and traditions.

The app interface is in Japanese. This English store page introduces the app; it does not indicate an English-language interface. Support and policy pages are also in Japanese.

FAMILY RECORDS Keep names, gender, familiar forms of address, birthdays, dates of death, photos and notes together. Organize relatives by household, and calculate Japanese relationship terms from the family connections you enter.

FAMILY TREE Explore connections around a selected person. Group relatives by household or show each person individually within the selected family and generation range. Filter and sort relatives when choosing the central person.

IMPORTANT DATES AND CUSTOMS See birthdays, wedding anniversaries, memorial observances and longevity celebrations. Configure notifications by event type. Use Japanese calendar dates and reference amounts for condolence and celebration gifts.

FREE FEATURES Register up to five people, including yourself. Relationship references, family trees, anniversary and memorial calculations, and notifications are available for those registered people.

DATA AND PRIVACY Your records are stored on your device and, when available, synced to your own iCloud account. The developer does not collect your family records. Synced records can be carried over to another device or after reinstalling when you use the same Apple Account and enable iCloud for Shinzokucho.
