CONSTELLATION
The night sky holds patterns that human eyes have traced for thousands of years. Now it's your turn.
Constellation is a star-tracing puzzle game built around one deceptively simple idea: a shape is hidden among the stars. Find it. Connect it. Do it before the sky goes dark.
Each round places a dotted outline on screen — a constellation waiting to be traced. The board fills with coloured stars, only one colour forming the real shape. The rest are decoys. Drag through the matching stars in order, start from either
end, and connect the dots before the wave decay timer runs out. Stars don't disappear one at a time — they fade together, in pulses, putting every player under the same pressure.
Faster runs score more. Cleaner runs score more. The best players learn to read the shape instantly, commit to a direction, and trace without hesitation.
FOUR WAYS TO PLAY
Sprint puts you on the clock for 90 seconds. Shapes come in waves. Each successful trace keeps the run alive. Your score is the number that lands on the leaderboard — chase your personal best, then chase everyone else's.
Daily Sky gives every player the same five shapes on the same day. Your total time is what counts. Share your result, compare with friends, and come back tomorrow for a fresh sky. The leaderboard here resets daily, so yesterday's champion starts from zero.
Progression is a campaign through the sky. Twenty-five named constellations — from the geometric simplicity of Triangulum to the sprawling complexity of Orion — each split into individual stars to master. Earn medals on every level. Return to improve your rating. There are no power-ups, no shortcuts: just you, the shape, and how cleanly you can trace it.
Versus lets you play against other people without waiting for them to be online. Tap Quick Match and you're matched with a real player who traced the same sky before you. Beat their time and the point is yours. Your run enters the pool for the next person to race. No lobbies. No scheduling. Just load up, play, and find out where you rank.
If you want a direct challenge, generate a code and send it to a friend. They enter it, you both trace the same sky, and the result screen tells you who came out ahead.
THE LEADERBOARD
Every mode feeds its own board — sprint scores, daily times, versus wins. Weekly, monthly, and all-time windows let you track improvement over time or just see who in the world is best right now. A single anonymous identity carries your scores across sessions, sign-in to secure your name and history permanently.
CLEAN BY DESIGN
No energy meters. No lives. No wait timers. Constellation gets out of the way and lets you play. The interface is built around the star field — dark backgrounds, minimal chrome, everything in service of the shapes on screen.
One optional purchase removes ads entirely. That's it.
MADE FOR THE NIGHT SKY
The constellations in Progression are the real ones — the shapes navigators read, the patterns myth-makers named, the outlines that appear in the same positions every clear night. You won't become an astronomer by playing Constellation, but you might find yourself looking up on a clear night and recognising something.
Constellation requires iOS 16 or later. Game Centre not required. Leaderboards and Versus require a network connection.
