ChordFrog: Piano Ear Training

ChordFrog trains your ear to recognise chords by sound — no instrument or extra gear required. Play audio quizzes anywhere, then connect a MIDI keyboard (USB or Bluetooth) whenever you want hands-on practice on real keys.

PRACTICE MODES • Leap Quiz — no keyboard needed. Multiple-choice ear training you can do anywhere — on the bus, in a waiting room, whenever you have a few minutes. • Travel Chords — no keyboard needed. An audio chord reference library; tap any chord to hear it. • Lily Pad Drill — with a MIDI keyboard. 20-question scored rounds with up to 200 points. Three tries per chord, so every attempt counts. • Free Pond — with a MIDI keyboard. Play freely and ChordFrog names every chord in real time, including inversions and slash chords.

A MIDI keyboard is optional: Leap Quiz and Travel Chords work entirely on their own, while Lily Pad Drill and Free Pond add hands-on practice when you connect one.
