Rotations Simplified takes the stress out of match-day rotations, helping coaches see who is playing, who has rested and who is ready to rotate next.

Built for fast-moving football games, the app combines a clear on-ground view with live timers, colour alerts, target game-time warnings, smart substitution suggestions, scoring, notes, networking and detailed reports.

PLAN ROTATIONS BEFORE THEY HAPPEN

Create numbered Planned Rotations before making a change. Plan two-player swaps or three-player rotation chains involving bench or on-ground players, then double tap to complete the exact planned swap.

SMARTER PLAYER GROUPS

Assign players to Back, Mid and Forward groups, with support for hybrids who can cover multiple lines.

Each player can have a primary role plus extra cover roles, making it easier to identify flexible options such as Mid/Back, Mid/Forward, Forward/Back or players who can cover all three lines.

Hybrid badges appear on player tiles when relevant, helping coaches spot who can swing into another line without changing the player’s main role.

TEAM FORMATIONS

Set teams up for 18-a-side, 16-a-side or 5-5-5 junior layouts. The ground view and substitution screens adjust to match the selected structure.

MANAGE TARGET GAME TIME

Set a default target game-time percentage for your team or create individual targets for specific players.

Warning indicators consider elapsed playing time and time remaining, helping identify players who may fall short while there is still time to adjust rotations.

Smart suggestions use player groups, playing time, bench rest and hybrid cover roles. Colour-based player, bench and target alerts make rotation status easy to understand at a glance.

Quickly add or remove match-day players, adjust positions, clear the field and manage unexpected team changes before or during the game.

PRO NETWORKING

Share a live match with nearby devices using Bluetooth and peer-to-peer Wi-Fi.

One host manages the match while connected viewers follow the live ground, bench, timer, score and goal kickers from their own devices.

The host can appoint a viewer as scorer, allowing one person to manage rotations while another records goals, points and goal kickers. Viewers can also add match notes while the host remains in control.

Pro Networking supports up to three nearby viewers. Networking Unlimited supports up to seven viewers. Only the host requires a networking subscription.

MATCH NOTES, SUMMARIES AND PROGRESS REPORTS

Record general or player-specific notes throughout the match. Review quarter scores, goal kickers, notes and scoring timelines during breaks or after the game.

Create a shareable progress report snapshot during a match, giving coaches and team managers a quick view of the game so far without saving a final report.

POST-GAME REPORTS

After the final siren, Rotations Simplified creates a detailed report showing player totals, game-time percentages, position minutes, injury time, cards, scores, goal kickers, notes and rotation history.

Reports can be shared as a PDF with coaches and team managers or kept for your own records.

Rotations Simplified also supports saved teams, player lists, individual rotation, bench and game-time targets, plus iCloud syncing across devices.
