LingGrid

LingGrid is a local security app designed for Jiangsu Gaokao dynamic password cards. It currently focuses on the 8×8 physical password card used for the Jiangsu Gaokao.

You can scan the card with your camera or import a photo from your album. LingGrid recognizes the 8×8 password grid and lets you review every cell before saving. When you need to look up a code, simply select the coordinates shown on the website or system page, and LingGrid will combine them into the corresponding dynamic password.

LingGrid was created by the parent of a 2026 Jiangsu Gaokao student.

The idea came from a very real moment at home. That small physical password card quietly accompanies students and parents through some of the most important moments after the exam: checking scores, submitting college preferences, and confirming admission results. It may not be noticed every day, but when it is needed, it matters deeply. If the card is lost, it can be reissued, but every minute of waiting can feel heavy.

So I wanted to create a safe digital backup for the physical card, giving it a reliable companion on the phone. Not to replace the card, but to offer one more layer of preparation and a little more calm when it matters.

All password card data is encrypted and saved locally by default. LingGrid does not upload original images, coordinates, or password contents. It is built to make lookup faster while respecting privacy and security.

LingGrid is dedicated to every student and parent going through the Gaokao journey. It will always be free, with no fees. May every lookup bring a little less panic and a little more confidence.
