MossLight is a quiet plant care companion, built to help you actually notice your plants, not just manage them... all with ZERO ads, ZERO exceptions to my rules on AI use, and ZERO requirements to pay for the knowledge within.

Track watering and fertilizing with a real, ongoing care history for every plant, not just a single date that gets overwritten. Keep a garden journal. Explore a growing catalogue of real, hand-researched species with honest care guidance instead of generic advice. Identify a plant you’re unsure about. Set reminders that fit how your plants actually grow, not a rigid schedule.

MossLight also includes a small, cozy ambient scene that shifts with real weather and time of day, along with companion critters who keep you company as your garden grows.

MossLight’s core plant-care tools work completely on their own. You can track your plants, log care, keep a journal, explore botanical information, and tend your garden without paying for features you need just to use the app for its actual purpose.

OPTIONAL WAYS TO GROW YOUR GARDEN FURTHER

If you’d like to expand how many plants your garden can hold or unlock additional cosmetic companions and themes, MossLight offers optional Greenhouse tiers. There’s no pressure to subscribe. Plenty of people use MossLight fully and happily without adding one. If you want more room to grow or a few extra ways to make your garden feel like yours, that option is there when you want it, not before.

A NOTE ON ACCESSIBILITY

MossLight includes several built-in themes designed around real accessibility needs, including high-contrast options and color-vision-friendly palettes, because a plant app should work for as many people as possible.

PRIVACY AND YOUR DATA

You can use MossLight as a guest, with your garden data kept on your device, or sign in to sync your garden across devices. Your guest garden is not uploaded unless you choose to create an account and back it up.

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION

MossLight offers optional, auto-renewing subscription tiers. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, will be forfeited when a paid subscription is purchased.
