Conversation Mode

• Place your iPhone between you and the person you are speaking with. The screen splits into two sides, with the other person’s side automatically facing them.
• Hold to speak, then release when you are finished. Within seconds, your words are translated and spoken aloud in their language. They can respond in exactly the same way.
• Natural, face-to-face conversations without the language barrier.

Listen Mode

• When the other person needs to keep talking—such as a tour guide, lecturer, presenter, or shopkeeper—simply place your iPhone nearby and follow along.
• Their speech and its translation appear on the screen in real time, with no buttons to press. Listen privately through your earphones, then hold to reply in your own language when it is your turn to speak.

Your voice never leaves your iPhone. Speech recognition, translation, and voice playback all run locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or tracked. With LingoDuet, privacy is not an optional setting. It is how the app is built.
