Drive log, road trips, photos
Free speed and red-light camera alerts, called out before you reach them. Free turn-by-turn navigation with live traffic. Every drive files itself.
Cameras called out before you reach them, and directions to wherever you are going — both free.
RoadBook warns you about speed and red-light cameras ahead, matched to the road you are on, so the opposite carriageway stays quiet.
DRIVING MODE — one tap from anywhere
A live-traffic map with north-up, heading-up or driving views. Cameras are called out ahead — countdown, chime, spoken alert. Sources vary by country: official open government data where published, otherwise OpenStreetMap. Where the law restricts these apps it shows nothing: no camera locations in Germany, Switzerland or Austria, and none in France.
Ask for a place and RoadBook takes you there, turn by turn, spoken — free. Park (Pro) ranks nearby spaces by the walk you would really face — footpaths, crossings and the climb, not a straight line — and finds the next one if that space is taken, alongside live parking vacancy, traffic-camera images and Hong Kong meter occupancy.
EVERY DRIVE FILES ITSELF
Tap start and the rest is automatic — route, distance, time, speed, altitude and g-force become a permanent, exportable record.
JOURNEYS WORTH KEEPING
• Name a drive and add photos — the route says where you went, the pictures what it looked like.
• Group a journey's drives into one Road Trip: the whole route on one map, however many days it took (Pro).
• Route map: every drive recorded on one map, with lifetime distance and the countries and cities reached (Pro).
• A home-screen widget with your week, streak and next milestone, and a Live Activity while you drive.
• Year in review: your driving year on one screen, with a free card to share.
• GPX and JSON export, drives sent as a file or a live link (Pro), share cards free.
LEADERBOARDS — free, and opt-in
• Invite-only groups with friends: weekly distance and drive count.
• Or a public board for your country across six metrics and five windows. Browse without joining. Joining takes consent and publishes only a name you choose, your country, those figures and whether you have Pro. Leaving erases them.
FOR THE ENTHUSIAST
• A recorded drive keeps its top speed, peak g and a score out of 100 — how hard you braked, how fast you cornered. A motion classifier means a knocked device isn't counted as the car.
• Speed, altitude and g-force as three synchronised timelines on one screen — pinch into any stretch of road and every statistic recomputes (Pro).
• All-time personal bests from ordinary drives: 0–100 km/h free, the other seven brackets and ten braking times Pro. Times are GPS estimates, closed-course use.
MILEAGE AND TAX — the logbook is free
• File a drive as Business, Medical, Charity, Moving or Personal — then RoadBook learns your patterns and offers to do the rest. Totals and estimate free.
• Tax years that start where yours does, standard rates or actual expenses, fuel, servicing and receipts as evidence. CSV, PDF (Pro).
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no sign-in, no RoadBook server — drives stay on your device and your own cloud storage, and we never receive them. Your position is rounded to about a kilometre before any camera or parking lookup leaves. Directions go to Apple, not to us.
FREE
Record as many drives as you like. Saving on the free plan can show a short video first — your drive always saves, ad or no ad. Everything not marked Pro is included.
ROADBOOK PRO
Road trips, unlimited photos, automatic background start, the three charts, the Route map, GPX and JSON export, drive sharing, CSV and PDF reports, sync across your devices, extra vehicles and the performance set.
RoadBook Pro is USD 2.99 a month or USD 24.99 a year, with a 1-week free trial. Payment is charged to your store account at purchase and renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your account settings.
