Vintage Film Camera & Canvas
Not every photo needs to be finished instantly. Let it slowly appear, gently fall, and find its place on your own infinite canvas.
CHROMIS is a retro camera that turns Dynamic Island into a Polaroid. It does not rush to finish a photo at once. Instead, it lets the image slowly appear in the waiting, turning every press of the shutter back into a photographic ritual with quiet emotional value.
When you open CHROMIS for the first time, taking a photo is no longer just pressing a button. The viewfinder unfolds from Dynamic Island, the shutter sounds, and the photo slowly slides out like a real Polaroid. The image is not completed instantly. During a brief wait, it gradually wakes from a gray-white sensitive state into a frame with the texture of film. Then it gently lands on the canvas, like a small piece of everyday life just preserved, waiting for you to arrange it, place it, and return to it.
These photos do not have to remain only in an album list. They can scatter across an infinite canvas, like a private photo wall that slowly grows, or a visual journal that life continues to write. When one photo deserves to be seen on its own, it can softly rise from the collage gallery and stay for a moment, like a Polaroid held close in front of you. When one area of the canvas is worth revisiting often, it can also be cropped into a small window and quietly kept on your Home Screen.
— Capture
CHROMIS designs the shooting experience around Dynamic Island, letting the camera unfold naturally from it. Built-in film color sets cover different moods, including warm tones, cool tones, low saturation, high saturation, and classic film simulations. Live Photo capture support preserves the moving afterglow before and after you press the shutter.
— Organize
The infinite canvas lets photos be arranged not only by time, but freely by mood, scene, and memory. Pins help keep photos and background cards in the right place, while background cards are well suited for creating fuller collages, journals, or visual collections.
— Display
The Polaroid stage is made for appreciating a single photo on its own. Canvas export lets you save a finished collage layout as a high-quality image. Home Screen widgets can place a corner of your canvas on the Home Screen, allowing memories to stay gently within everyday life.
— Efficiency
CHROMIS supports iOS Shortcuts, so it can connect with automations, Lock Screen entry points, or widgets, making the shooting flow faster to start.

— Privacy Commitment
All photo processing is completed locally and is not uploaded to any server. CHROMIS requests only necessary permissions, such as camera access and album write access, to complete shooting, saving, and exporting.
May every press of the shutter become a moment worth treasuring.
