AI-IDE is a lightweight integrated editor for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Edit Markdown, code, and config files right inside iCloud Drive or any Files folder — and work with the LLM of your choice without leaving the document.

• Mark up the preview, let AI edit — Tap a spot or select a passage and say what to change. Queue marks across the document, send one batch, review one diff.

• Bring your own AI — OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, AISA (one key for GPT / Claude / Gemini / Grok / Qwen and 70+ models), OpenRouter, Groq, Mistral, MiniMax, Moonshot, or local Ollama. 16 one-tap presets; multiple profiles.

• You approve every change — Edits show a diff card first; nothing is written until you tap Apply, and every overwrite is snapshotted.

• Multi-tab editor — Syntax highlighting for 10 languages, line numbers, autosave, find & replace, font size.

• Rich Markdown preview — Outline navigation, in-document search, reading progress with resume, one-tap code copy, collapsible lists, task checkboxes, light/dark themes.

• Office files and PDFs, both ways — Export to PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on device; "AI Refine" turns a document into slides, and your own .pptx supplies the master and theme. Brand Kits apply your colours, fonts, and logo. Open a .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, or PDF to edit its text or cells in place with formatting kept, and reorder, rotate, or delete PDF pages.

• AI illustrations — One prompt generates an illustration (OpenAI gpt-image or Gemini) at the cursor; it flows into PDF, Word, and PowerPoint. Decks can auto-illustrate or render each slide as an image.

• Built-in data tools — 30 tools the AI calls itself: web page text, academic papers, US financials and SEC filings, crypto prices, X posts and reply threads, prediction markets, Perplexity. Switched on by category, with the per-message token cost shown. One AISA key also unlocks the model gateway and web search. Calls are HTTPS-only and host-whitelisted, with the key injected on device and never seen by the model.

• Prompt Library — Activate several presets at once, merged in your order with a size meter. Three research procedures are built in; import more from GitHub or the AISA catalog.

• Tool-using AI — Reads, searches, and writes workspace files. Optional web search via Brave, Tavily, Perplexity, or AISA, each with its own key.

• Files done right — Open files from anywhere; create, rename, move, duplicate, share, and delete in the tree; multiple pinned workspaces.

• Local version control — Snapshot, diff, and revert on device — no git account, history never leaves it, instant in huge folders. Optional auto-commit for approved AI edits.

• Reliable by default — Suggests the right model for coding, chat, long context, or vision; dropped streams retry and resume without re-sending the conversation.

• Multimodal — Attach files, photos, or clipboard images. Vision models get images directly; PDF / DOCX / PPTX / XLSX are transcribed.

• Trilingual — Full UI in English, 繁體中文, 简体中文; switch without restart.

PRIVACY

• API keys live in the Keychain (device-only). Your content goes directly to the endpoints you configure — no proxy, no telemetry, no analytics. Chat history stays local.

• iOS / iPadOS 17.0 or later, or macOS 14.0 or later. You provide the API keys for the LLM services you use.
